Huawei has officially unveiled the world’s first HarmonyOS foldable laptop – the MateBook Fold ULTIMATE DESIGN. With its unique design and powerful performance, it has swiftly become a focal point in the market.

This laptop boasts an ultra-thin and lightweight foldable design. When unfolded, it features an 18-inch extra-large screen, delivering an immersive visual experience. When folded, its size shrinks to just 13 inches, making it highly portable. The entire device weighs only 1.16kg and is just 7.3mm thick when unfolded, truly achieving a perfect blend of a large screen and portability. In terms of appearance, it is available in three color options: Forged Shadow Black, Celestial White, and Cloud Water Blue. The back is crafted with a soft and warm vegan leather material, paired with an integrated stand, exuding an air of luxury and elegance.

It is equipped with the world’s largest dual-layer OLED display. It has a peak brightness of up to 1600nits, a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1, a resolution of 3.3K, adaptive refresh rate support, and a screen-to-body ratio of up to 92%, presenting users with an extremely clear and vivid picture quality. Moreover, this screen is the first to commercially adopt LTPO technology in the laptop industry, resulting in a 30% improvement in overall energy consumption optimization.

In terms of hardware configuration, it is equipped with an ultra-thin dual-fan system made of diamond aluminum, offering a 28W performance release. The thickness of the fans is a mere 3.5mm. It adopts the innovative Gravity Pump Anti-Gravity VC technology, ensuring consistent performance of the laptop in different forms. In addition, it is equipped with the world’s largest-sized Xuanwu Waterdrop Hinge, which is robust and durable, supporting multi-angle suspension.

Powered by HarmonyOS 5, it enables seamless full-scene interconnection across multiple devices such as phones, tablets, and computers, with a rich array of exclusive computer ecosystem applications. Users can leverage the 18-inch foldable large screen for efficient operations like proposal presentations and multi-window browsing. They can also achieve convenient functions such as three-finger flick screen-casting and five-finger spread window-mode switching through gesture operations, enhancing work efficiency.
