Mobile imaging has entered the era of “full focal length + high pixel.” For instance, the 200MP telephoto lens of the vivo X300 Pro and the ultra-large bottom main camera of the Huawei Pura 80 have become standard features for flagships, raising users’ expectations for “effortlessly stunning photos” ever higher. Mobile phone functionality has reached new heights; today’s phones must not only be equipped with HD screens (with many models featuring dual-screen designs) and high-resolution cameras with tens or even hundreds of millions of pixels, but also adhere to the design principle of being “light and compact.” This leads to a critical issue: mobile phone screens (such as LCD or OLED) and camera CMOS sensors must connect to the baseband controller via flexible PCBs or long-trace PCBs, and these cross-device lines have become a “disaster zone” for interference.

With the significant increase in data transmission frequencies (e.g., the clock frequencies for mobile phone displays and camera CMOS sensors have reached hundreds of MHz), on one hand, the internal flexible connection lines of the phone are highly susceptible to interference from wireless signals (such as GSM/CDMA band signals); on the other hand, they themselves easily become sources of radiated electromagnetic interference/radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) or conducted electrostatic discharge (ESD). Due to the broadband nature of the digital signal spectrum, the frequency of digital harmonic signals may completely overlap with the mobile phone’s wireless signal reception frequency bands. The radiated noise generated in these bands may reduce the sensitivity of the mobile phone’s wireless signal reception. In addition, EMI can破坏 video signal integrity, causing screen stuttering and image noise. ESD can directly damage the baseband controller, causing camera crashes or focus failure, which is more easily triggered in dry environments or after frequent plugging and unplugging of data cables.

Faced with the dual challenge of EMI & ESD, the traditional solution—discrete RC filters—not only occupies PCB space but also only achieves narrowband attenuation, making it unsuitable for high-frequency transmissions above 40MHz. 01. Integrated Packaging Design

It adopts a standard π-type filter structure and integrates electrostatic discharge protection functionality, featuring an ultra-small package size (DFN2415-12L: 2.4 mm × 1.5 mm × 0.5 mm). Compared to traditional discrete designs, it reduces the number of components and space occupation on the circuit board, saving 80% of PCB space, which contributes to the miniaturization and lightweight design of electronic products. Furthermore, this product is Pin-to-Pin fully compatible with STMicroelectronics’ (ST) EMIF06-1005M12 series and can be directly interchanged.

02. Excellent Protection Performance

(1) The integrated TVS can quickly respond to electrostatic discharge events, clamping transient voltages to a safe level (under 8/20μs waveform testing: 11V@4A). Compared to competing products, it has stronger discharge capability and lower clamping voltage, providing better protection for the back-end circuit.

(2) TFR0506L possesses high ESD withstand capability, able to endure the impact of 25kV contact discharge and 25kV air discharge under IEC 61000-4-2 testing.
