DJI officially released the all-new dual-main-camera pocket cinema camera, Osmo Pocket 4P, today — a deep fusion of professional imaging and true portability. The new device features a brand-new 1-inch wide-angle main camera supporting 17 stops of dynamic range and D-Log 2 color, along with a newly added 60mm telephoto lens capable of recording up to 4K/240FPS slow-motion video, positioning itself as the ultimate pocket cinema camera.
The Osmo Pocket 4P’s wide-angle main camera offers a 20mm equivalent focal length with an f/2.0 aperture, achieving 17 stops of dynamic range powered by LOFIC technology, preserving rich detail in both highlights and shadows. The new telephoto lens features a 60mm focal length, f/1.8 aperture, 3x optical zoom, and up to 12x digital zoom — delivering more texture in portraits and close-ups.

The camera supports D-Log 2 color mode with 10-bit color depth, recording up to 4K/240FPS “cinema-grade” ultra-clear slow motion. A slow-shutter mode in video captures light trails and motion blur with ease. A 3-axis mechanical gimbal ensures stable footage while walking or tracking, while ActiveTrack 8.0 supports full-range, multi-person, and subject tracking at up to 12x zoom. Real-time skin smoothing and whitening adjustments are available in-camera, along with 6 built-in film color tones. Connecting to the DJI Mimo App unlocks additional editing presets and color recipes.

With 103GB of built-in storage, no memory card is needed. USB 3.1 wired transfer reaches up to 800MB/s. Battery life extends up to 210 minutes with fast charging support. Professional features include Wi-Fi livestreaming, web conferencing, network webcam mode, and in-camera timecode. Optional accessories include a fill light, beauty soft filter, ND filter kit, and viewfinder remote. Available in black and white, the Osmo Pocket 4P redefines the pocket cinema camera with its dual main cameras and 1-inch sensor.

……………………………………………………Electrostatic Protection Knowledge……………………………………………………
In digital cameras, action cameras, 360° cameras, and wearables, dense high-speed signals are highly vulnerable to EMI, ESD, and surge threats. To ensure stable operation, TVS diodes and EMI filters must be deployed at these core nodes:
- Battery Protection: Guards against charging/discharging surges to prevent power management damage.
- Magnetic Coils: Suppresses electromagnetic interference from OIS and other moving modules.
- Type-C VBUS: Withstands high-voltage surges from plugging/unplugging or poor-quality chargers.
- Type-C Data: Prevents ESD damage to chips and filters common-mode noise for high-speed transmission.
- MIPI/HDMI: Filters high-frequency noise and prevents ESD to avoid screen flickering or blackouts.
- Audio: Suppresses background noise and prevents ESD-induced microphone pops or speaker failure.
- Buttons: Discharges human-contact ESD to prevent crashes or false triggers.
- Camera Sensors: Prevents ESD damage to avoid imaging blackouts or dead pixels.
Multi-node precision protection builds a robust hardware defense from the source.
