Lenovo has introduced the LEGION Y700 Wuji, a new compact tablet positioned at the flagship tier. The device pairs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 application processor with an 8.4-inch high-refresh-rate gaming display and 5G dual-SIM capability, targeting users who prioritize both portability and computational performance.
The Y700 Wuji features an 8.4-inch OLED gaming panel with a resolution of 2560 × 1600. The display supports a 165 Hz refresh rate—among the highest in the tablet segment—with an instantaneous touch sampling rate of 3400 Hz, effectively eliminating perceptible input latency in competitive gaming scenarios. Local peak brightness reaches 4000 nits, ensuring legibility under direct outdoor illumination.
The chassis is offered in three colorways: White, Deep Purple, and Light Purple. At approximately 298 grams and 6.5 mm in thickness, the device maintains a rounded-corner form factor that conforms to palm geometry for extended gaming sessions without fatigue. Lenovo emphasizes the product’s single-hand grip viability and pocketability as core differentiators.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is complemented by LPDDR5T memory operating at 10667 Mbps and UFS 4.1 Pro storage, a configuration Lenovo terms its “performance iron triangle.” Thermal management employs a third-generation Qian Kun vapor chamber architecture, incorporating a 15000 mm² VC heat spreader with a centered thermal design that maintains sustained performance output under sustained GPU-intensive workloads.
