Honor Magic V6 foldable phone officially unveiled

The Honor Magic V6 foldable smartphone has been officially launched, redefining high-end foldable flagships with its “thinnest and lightest” design and “most versatile” capabilities, available in red, gold, white, and black.

In terms of screen display, it features a brand-new Black Diamond Screen that is ultra-reliable, ultra-transparent, and ultra-eye-friendly. With 5,600 layers of silicon nitride coating on the screen surface, its abrasion resistance is enhanced by three times. The outer screen has an integrated low-reflection coating design, with a reflectance as low as 1.5%, ensuring clear display even under strong light. The inner screen’s “imperceptible crease” feature has been certified by SGS, with a 44% improvement in creases compared to the previous generation and a 33% increase in impact resistance. It has also passed the German Rheinland TÜV Global Eye Care Certification. The inner screen utilizes newly upgraded ultra-tough UTG glass with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, while the outer screen adopts a new generation of King Kong Giant Rhinoceros Glass with a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. Both screens support 4,320Hz PWM dimming and stylus use.

Regarding design and protection, the back cover features a 3D grid pattern precision carving paired with an aerospace aluminum straight-edge design, winning the 2026 iF Design Award. The device weighs approximately 219g, with a folded thickness of about 8.75mm and an unfolded thickness of about 4.0mm. It is equipped with a new generation of Honor Shield Tunneling Steel Hinge, with a strength of 2,800MPa, far exceeding that of car A-pillars. It offers dual IP68 & IP69 protection and supports 4-meter water resistance.

For battery life and fast charging, it is powered by a brand-new 7,150mAh Qinghai Lake Blade Battery, with a silicon content exceeding 32% and an energy density as high as 985Wh/L. There is also a 6,850mAh version to meet different needs. Additionally, an ultra-thin design is adopted to optimize internal space.

In terms of performance and imaging, it is the first to feature a full-spec Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It is equipped with a 64-megapixel telephoto lens, supporting CIPA 6.5-level image stabilization, the AiMAGE True Color Engine, and more, delivering an outstanding photography experience.

It offers a wealth of intelligent features. The AI Conference Assistant supports various office functions. It is the industry’s first to introduce an AI Intelligence Officer, supporting news subscription and push notifications. It also features AI Peeping Screen Protection.

With a powerful communication ecosystem, it boasts the most comprehensive 5G communication bands for foldable phones, offering AI full-screen translation, a 120FPS full-frame gaming ecosystem, and more. It is also compatible with the Apple ecosystem, enabling seamless cross-system connectivity.

Furthermore, Honor has introduced a 120W gallium nitride compact super fast charger that supports multiple protocols.
