JY Electronics Launches TL1110, a 5.5V/10A Ultra-Low Resistance Single-Channel Load Switch Chip

JY Electronics has recently introduced the TL1110, a 5.5V/10A ultra-low resistance single-channel load switch chip. This product features an N-channel MOSFET that operates within an input voltage range of 0.8V to 5V and supports a maximum continuous current of 10A.

It is widely applicable in laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets, and other similar devices.

The engineering batch of this product has been verified and passed.

TL1110 Parameter Table

TL1110 Product Highlights

1、Compact and Space-Saving Package: The TL1110 is housed in a DFN3x3-8L package with a bottom heat sink, enabling high power dissipation.

2、Wide Input Voltage Range: The switch input voltage VIN ranges from 0.8V to 5.5V, and the input bias voltage VBIAS ranges from 2.5V to 5.5V.

3、Ultra-Low On-Resistance: At VIN = 1.05V (VBIAS = 2.5V to 5.5V), the on-resistance RON is 3.5mΩ (typical), supporting a maximum continuous current of 10A.

4、Low Quiescent and Shutdown Currents: Features low quiescent current (20μA at VBIAS = 5V) and low shutdown current (1μA at VBIAS = 5V).

5、Fast Output Discharge Capability: The TL1110 includes a fast output discharge function.

6、Undervoltage Protection and Enable Control: Offers undervoltage protection and enable control features.

7、Wide Operating Temperature Range: Maintains stable operation within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

Application Case: Tablet

Inside a tablet, there are numerous functional modules, such as the CPU, GPU, storage units, display module, and wireless communication modules (WiFi, Bluetooth). The load switch chip can precisely control the power paths of these modules.

For example, when the tablet is turned on, it can power up the various modules in a predetermined sequence. It first supplies power to the core power management module of the system. Once this module is stable, it then powers up the CPU and other critical components to ensure a stable system startup. This is akin to an electric power dispatcher for a complex mechanical device, methodically turning on the power supply for each subsystem.
