Redmagic 10 Pro Series Released

The Redmagic 10 Pro series smartphones have made a stunning debut, equipped with the top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and featuring 9600Mbps LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 Pro storage as standard across the range, delivering exceptional performance. Additionally, they come with the self-developed Red Core R3 gaming chip, supporting 2K+120FPS super resolution and frame rate concurrency, covering over 200 games for an unparalleled gaming experience.

Adopting a flat design, the series offers four color options: black, black transparent, silver transparent, and white, while retaining a 3.5mm headphone jack, balancing aesthetics with practicality.

In terms of the display, it debuts the “Wukong Screen,” jointly developed with BOE, a 6.85-inch 1.5K, 144Hz bezel-less full screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 95.3%, a peak brightness of 2000nits, and support for high-frequency PWM dimming and DC dimming, providing an excellent visual experience.

The camera functionality is equally impressive, featuring a 16-megapixel AI under-display front camera for better selfies, and a dual 50-megapixel main camera setup (main sensor 1/1.55 inch, ultra-wide sensor 1/2.88 inch) plus a 2-megapixel macro lens, supporting various shooting modes such as low-light night scenes, fast autofocus, HDR mode, etc., to meet diverse photography needs.

Battery life and cooling are also standout features. The Redmagic 10 Pro+ is equipped with a large 7050mAh battery, supporting 120W fast charging, which can be fully charged in just 30 minutes; the Redmagic 10 Pro comes with a 6500mAh battery, supporting 80W fast charging. Both models support USB 3.2 Gen2 speeds. For cooling, they debut a composite liquid metal with a thermal conductivity of up to 80W/mk, combined with a new “Fire Wheel” high-speed centrifugal fan and multiple cooling technologies, ensuring the phone stays cool even under intense use, providing gamers with an ultimate gaming experience.

What are ESD components, and what is their importance in mobile phones? The significance of built-in ESD components.

ESD components are specialized electronic components designed to protect electronic devices from the effects of electrostatic discharge (ESD). Electrostatic discharge is a sudden release of electrical charge that can potentially damage electronic devices, leading to device malfunctions or a shortened lifespan. ESD components are designed to absorb, conduct, or dissipate electrostatic discharges to prevent damage caused by static electricity.

In mobile phones, the primary role of ESD components is to protect the internal electronic components from the harm caused by electrostatic discharge. Various circuits and components inside the phone are highly sensitive to ESD, which is why multiple ESD components are typically used in the phone’s design to provide protection. These components may include diodes, ESD diode, MOSFET and more.

Specifically, ESD components in a mobile phone may serve the following purposes:

Interface Protection: Various interfaces of the phone, such as the charging port and headphone jack, may require ESD components to prevent damage from electrostatic discharge.

RF Circuit Protection: RF circuits in mobile phones are highly sensitive to ESD and require ESD components to safeguard these critical circuits.

Processor and Memory Protection: Processors, memory, and other crucial components in the phone also require ESD protection to ensure the device’s normal operation.

Touchscreen and Display Protection: The touchscreen and display are integral parts of a mobile phone that also require ESD components to prevent static electricity damage.

In summary, ESD components play a crucial role in protecting the internal electronic components of a mobile phone from damage caused by electrostatic discharge, ensuring the phone’s proper operation and longevity.
